Just approved for a cell phone thru Verizon

I thought for sure that they were going to charge me a huge deposit. Nope - no deposit at all. My discharge is technically today so I decided to give it a shot and see what would happen since I've been wanting to drop my other provider for months. No point in keeping a phone that doesn't get a signal at home.

Just thought I would post this up for others that are looking for bk friendly Cell Providers. Verizon seems to be one.

I am just wondering what your credit scores are at? That makes a difference in getting approval or not. I am thinking of changing providers and was discharged last week.

remember that once the discharge hits the credit reports the scores will be better. more then likey you will also have a better chance once discharged and reported as such. that could take anywhere from 5 to 30+ days.

As far as my score goes the last time i checked it was at 620. I guess that might have helped some...
