When can I apply for credit card (when is it legal)?

The last day for creditors to object is on Feb 2. I have a slight dilemma with work. I travel and have discovered that using a debit card (for the most part ) is not acceptable to car rentals and hotels. I have an offer from Household Bank which expires today. Mind you I have received three from them since filiing (this one one stating the final offer).

My question is, is it legal for me to apply for the card three days prior to my final objection day and/or discharge (I hope discharge)?

lots of us did. i havnt heard of a case where you get into trouble. attorneys mostly tell you dont do anything until after dsicharge or at least 341 meeting.

that goes more for selling assests you own though, expesnse related things and income.

id would go ahead and apply for it. try orchard as well. they are easy.

Thanks. From what I understand --household and orchard are the same company. One thing that concerns me regarding HHbank is that I had a comp usa account (which is hhbank as well). Think this might cause any trouble?

it could. apply and see. cant hurt if you are right out of a bk. a point or two off your credit score aint going to hurt much lol.
