After reading a lot of posts about checking credit reports and scores for an entire household I decided to go with privacy matters. Well I am now thinking it was a mistake. They told me it was a $1.00 signup fee for 7 days and then 14.95 per month after that. I sign up and then check my check card balance and I have been docked $100.00. I call privacymatters and they say they have not charged me yet so I call my bank and they say it is a charge for privacy matters. I call back privacy matters and they still give me the run around. Even if it is a pending charge you do not hold $100.00 for a $1.00 charge. Has this happened to anyone else using this place? I could wait until tomorrow to see if the charge drops but the entire process has pissed me off so bad I dont want anything to do with this site anymore.

It shows at the bank, but it is not officially charged yet...so there is no official credit due!!!! Privacy matters "pre-authed" your bank, so yes your bank sees it, but technically Privacy matters never "CHARGED" anything YET, so their is no credit due to you. I used to work for a bank I know how these things work, I used to have customers call all freaked out, and I had to explain to them.
