    Wrong info on credit score

I just pulled my husbands fico score and was going over it. We kept are car loan when we filled bk. Well we ended up paying it off 3 months after discharge. Well according to a report, it was discharged in bk! Which really pisses me off. We paid in full and were never late! So I was wondering if we could dispute this. I'm pretty sure we can, but I dont know where to start. Thanks

Did you reaffirm the auto loan? If not, it WAS discharged in bankruptcy. If you reaffirmed, then it should show paid in full.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Just dispute it! WRITE a letter, and tell them what is wrong, and how it should be reported.

you can dispute it on the credit reports website. there it will show you how to go about the dispute process (if you purchases the report on the website)

If you dispute it with the bureaus, they'll likely delete it rather than turn it into a paid as agreed. If the reaffirmation was filed before discharge, perhaps send something to the creditor and try to get them to fix it?

Yes you can, do it online....however some times some info can only be changed in writing. As in my hubbys case, Experian and Equifax BOTH wanted a copy of his ID AND his dipute in writing before they changed anything on his report. For me they just took the dispute online. Sometimes online is not the best way either, easy but not always the best.
