    What to do?

    Here's the problem.....

Our bk was discharged in 07/04, when we filed, we had planned on keeping our Durango which was financed through Capital One and returning our Grand Prix which is financed through Chase Auto Finance.

When I called Chase to inform them of the bk the lady asked me if I wanted to refinance. I originally said no but she explained that they would drop 75% of what they estimated they would lose on the bk and refinance at a full 1% lower int for 4 years, which was exactly how long we had to go anyway. I called Capital One to see if they had a plan like that, but no luck. So, we surrendered the Durango and refied the Grand Prix and saved a $100 a month.

I've said all that to say this, I've been trying to clear up my credit by disputing some errors on my CR, one of which was the car loan through Chase. After the disputes they are saying my account has no balance and it's showing derogatory.

Now, I know they didn't lose me and that my car is free now, but I'm not sure how to fix this. Should I dispute it again or should I contact Chase and dispute it with them directly.

Hopefully, I've explained this so someone can understand it.

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

Yes, you dispute it with the credit reporting agency. Their information is old and has not been brought up to date. Good luck!
