if an account is reporting deragatory what does that mean?...these were included in chap 7...also sent to transunion that house was included in bankrutcy to get the lates removed b/c trusteee never paid on time...now it says derogatory..did i do it wrong??

dispute it as included in bankruptcy and a 0.00 balance should be showing only and nothing else,

Derogatory is any account that is not paid as agreed/in good standing. I hate it, but bankruptcy accounts ARE derogatory.

For the house, it should not show payment history after the filing unless you reaffirmed.

I hate this same problem with HSBC Mortgage. They were still reporting lates simply because the Trustee never paid them on time, which was no fault of my own.

I called HSBC, who had been the biggest pain in my rear throughout this whole process, and I tore into them. I had all lates and all reporting in general from them stopped, and I got it in writing.
If your mortgage is included in your BK, they should not be reporting ANYTHING. Get it in writing and deal directly with the mortgage company.
