If anyone happens to have sample letters they have sent to CRA's, please send them to me. I am having a hard time finding the proper words to dispute incorrect items due to a BK. I don't really know what to say in order to keep them from thinking I am nuts. Here are some of the disputes I have....

Creditors are still reporting high balances, and past due amounts.
Creditors are still showing accounts as open.
Some accounts charged off after the BK was discharged.

Those are the majority of the disputes I have. If anyone has different letters that have worked, please send them to me at [email protected]

^^^Yeah, I saw those, but I still don't really know how to word the letters in order to make them specific to my situation. I'm just worried about not saying enough, or saying the wrong things. Oh well. Thanks for your response.

You'll have to change the wording yourself appropriately, unless you are willing to go out and hire someone to do it for you

Just tell it like it is-

I had some that were reporting as CO's in 4 months in a row~before and during the bankruptcy. I tried a general dispute which did nothing. Ultimately, I wrote it very detailed: this account is reporting as a CO in each of these months. The account was IIB on XX/YY/ZZ.

They didn't delete, but did remove the extra CO's and they must have fixed something because Capital One is no longer updating each and every month.
