Capital One asking for Checking acct Info

Just wondering for those of you that applied for a Capital One Card after bk... I applied a couple weeks ago and capital one send me a letter wanting my bank account info to continue processing my application.

Has anyone else been asked for this info when applying for the card? And if you were asked for bank info - were you approved?

I have a friend who recently did this same thign. He did not file bankruptcy, but was trying to establish credit when he did not have any. He called to verify bank info a couple of weeks ago, and now his application is approved. He didn't get the approval right away, but this past weekend he called to check. They would not tell him his credit limit though, have to wait and see.

Thanks for the reply - hopefully everything goes thru ok. I did check my credit report and my Equifax and Transunion are about 675 after BK so you would think that would help, but who knows I guess. My Experian is a little lower (568) - maybe that's why they were asking for the info.
