So about two months ago I was discharged from Chap 7.

So far I have gotten 2/3 reports cleaned up.

Gotten approved for a new car.
I have gotten one small credit card.
Approved for a cell phone through cingular with no deposit.

So keep your heads up there IS hope.

Could you give us a little more detail, with whom did you finance your new car and the finance amount? Which credit card company, secured/Unsecured?

I am in much the same position. I financed a car about 4 months out of BK (after correcting report to show all IIB). I did it through Chrysler Financial. They gave me 11.5%. I felt that was pretty good for fresh out of BK. Plus I got 5,000 in rebates for using chrysler financial.
