I realized verizon home phone bill was reporting on my credit reports ... I called a rep and asked them why they were on my reports she told me they report as of about two months ago so people with bad credit or want to rebuild can have a good creditor reporting as long as they pay on time monthly... that was great.. I thought.. I wonder if it helps just like a credit card?

Are they reporting only for certain states? I'm in Southern California and I have not seen mine reported.
A lot of people with good credit who don't check their credit report will get a shock when they find out why their score is so low. I know my friend who pays his bill every two month, he has very good credit and doesn't check his report....Comment
