I applied for a Capital One card and was denied because for each report, Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union, it said the credit bureau information is missing or unavailable. What does this mean?

When my hubby first applied for credit he got the same message.Originally posted by Chapter7girlI applied for a Capital One card and was denied because for each report, Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union, it said the credit bureau information is missing or unavailable. What does this mean?
What had happend is, since we did not reaffirm on anything, and 90% of our debt was medical bills; once I started disputing them, they removed them off his report!!
So there were NO accounts in order to get a credit report on!
However I had two accounts that I paid for on time and closed, BEFORE our BK, so they weren't included in the BK, so it still looked good for me, I had a credit score.
My hubby was denied for Orchard back in 2004, however once he had First Premeir Bank THEN he was approved for Orchard....go figure??
Good luck

Funny you should mention that.....Hubby's Trans union report is perfect, and Orchard didn't even pull Trans...they pulled his Experian one instead.....weird huh? Hooters card pulled Trans and ExperianOriginally posted by FilingOnMyOwnI really don't know what that means, but I can tell you that capital one pulls your transunion report so you can start from there.
and was denied? these companies are wacky!!

Well how does my mom get credit if she has no record of credit? I really don't want to start with premier because their fees are so high. I wonder if I could sign for her to get one and it would help her credit?Chapter 7 discharged Oct 2004
no credit cards yet - have not applied
no mortgage yet - have not applied
no car payments yet - have not applied

Same as other post.Originally posted by Chapter7girlWell how does my mom get credit if she has no record of credit? I really don't want to start with premier because their fees are so high.
