question, i'm currently in ch13 - 13 months in a ch13 36 month plan,the question is that our student loan filed a claim for 11,500 and trustee paid so far 4888.00. the student is suppose to be paid 100% in the plan, but the student loan sent a letter and also sent back a check stating it is paid for!!!
so that leaves only a bal. of 13,000.00 left to pay in two years with payments of 900.00 a month @ 26%. will the trustee extend my time and change my percentage???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????

Yes, the trustee will endeavor to complete your plan to full term, all 36 months, and pay a higher percentage to your unsecured's

HMM or TODD or anyone, have you ever heard of reducing the months in a CHapter 13,(I am in a 58 month plan)? I'm wondering if I can apply an inheritance to the back of the plan to reduce it down to say 48 months instead of 58?
