    Lease to Own while in BK

    Hi,
    If you have not been discharged yet in BK, can you do a Rent to Own, or
    a Lease to Own without getting permission from the courts?

    Probably, although I don't know for sure. Only if the lease payments are prospective, meaning, you prepay rent for each month, then it should be ok because strictly speaking you haven't been extended credit.

      Are you talking a Chp 7 BK? Just hold off until you've discharged! The last thing you want to do is raise red flags!
