    We DID IT!

We just got done with our 341.

Got there at 9:30. Meeting set for 10. Got in front of the ASST. Trustee and she asked us if we were comfortable with proposed payment, asked for ID and SOC SEC cards, raised hand, oath etc...
    Took about 4 mins.
Then went RIGHT to the court room and sat there for 15 mins. Judge came up, raised right hand. Do you agree to this payment? Are you comfortable making this payment? Ok, YOU ARE CONFIRMED, have a nice day!!

The disposable income is $825. You give all that you have to your creditors. Thank you!! :-)

That's not necessarily true. You only give all of the disposable income if you are not in 100% payback. If you fall in the 100% payback, you can pay less (in my case half) than your disposable income.

We're not in 100 percent payback.
How do you know you're 100 percent when your creditors havent filed all the claims anyway?

I'm just glad our trustee does the confirmation and 341 on the same day. Makes it less stressful. The judge was quick...and really what would take 2 months or more to confirm. The numbers are there, they've had them. Why wait for confirmation?
I know someone said it's not the norm to be confirmed the same day as the 341, but I'd be stressed out if I had to wait.

If your Ch 13 plan is set up to pay all creditors 100% when it's filed, no matter how many creditors file claims, the % remains 100%. It just takes a shorter time to pay off fewer creditors in full if they don't all file claims.

CONGRATS! That's great! I know when we got our confirmation letter the light at the end of the tunnel seemed a tad bit brighter and a huge weight was lifted off our backs. Our payments are $820.00 a month. I think we are at 60% payback, but really not sure. Congrats again.
