case completed

our case was completed as of 6/29, got out 6 months early, attorney filed a motion to reduce from 50 months to 44 months. How long will it take now to get our discharge? And, our we still prohibited to obtain credit until we get the discharge? I am wanting to trade my car in, it's falling apart, but just didn't know if I could go ahead and do that now that we are no longer obligated to pay anymore into our plan or if I still have to wait until it is officially discharged????

I can't imagine how they expect you to not have reliable transportation. There are a number of people who trade and buy cars during the process. That is something you cant help for heavens sake but ask your attorney to be sure.
