Update: Trustee ordered us to pay the amount our attorney filed for until March 09. Attorney says that is about the best that we can do. We are hoping this is it.

Also, you state that "it's become stand practice near the end of ch 13", are you talking about a review and modification of ch 13 plans? What state are you in? And I think it's really silly that they won't let you pay off your plan early...

This seems to be an example of how some Trustees are trying to test and push the 2005 bankruptcy law changes. It sounds like they're a test case for the Trustee in seeing what he/she can get away with.
