Can I amend my petition without attorney?

I need to add the IRS for back taxes for 2005 and my attorney said he would amend the return and then increase my payment by 100.00 a month. I'm fine with that but he wants to charge $120 to do it. Can I do it without him?

    Call the trustee and ask.

Or, make extra money on the net (as you say you do often enough) and pay your attorney the $120 to do it correctly for you.

I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.

I'd make a quick $120 bucks online (making the money is a piece of cake) and have your attorney file it. It sounds like you have one of the best lawyers around, so why not let him do the work?

You wouldn't go in for heart surgery and then try to fix an artery all by yourself later would you? Of course not!!!

Plan: $400 (includes cram down) 60 months
Brilliant attorney, decent trustee, awesome plan
