    End?

Gosh 58th and last (I hope) payment made last week.

Now hoping no creditors object to what they got paid after they get notice from Trustee audit.

Man, that is ALL I need.

Best wishes to all of you just beginning or in the middle of, it goes by faster you think....key is NOT to think about and worry.

Thanks to all on this forum. Always great info and encouragement.

Can creditors object at the end of a plan and throw a wrench into things after five-years (or however long your plan was)?

I dont think they can object to what they have gotten paid. The plan is done, and they knew from the beginning approximately what they were going to get. This is a done deal. Congratulations!!

There are no objections filed by creditors at the end of a Plan. The Trustee will perform an audit and sends out any remaining final payments to creditors. All creditors are sent paperwork to sign and send back that they were paid the amount due them in the Plan and when the Trustee receives all that signed paperwork back, you will receive your discharge. That is how it was explained to us by our attorney and Trustee - the Trustee sent us a letter after the Plan was paid in full by us giving us the timeline breakdown and what was going to occur. We received our discharge 2 1/2 months after receiving that letter.

However I do have to add this.............an objection could occur thanks to some "junk/scum bottom feeder debt buyer collector" wanting to cause a problem.

Those guys lerk in the background, just waiting.

It's remote but it can happen.

I have 1 creditor that I am worried about. He waits to cash his trustee checks by a couple of months. He used to follow me to harass me into paying. I do worry about him, even though he got 61 percent of his debt paid back.

                  Tell me you are kidding?!?

How did you find out he waited to cash his checks and even better yet, how in he$$ did he find you much less, follow you?

Is this a " junk buyer" on a debt that was included in your C13?

I have one of those scums sniffing around, found out by pulling CR's.

I got some great info on how to deal with this ratbag right on this forum from Flamingo if I remember right?

Saved for use later if needed.

                  Hang in there.........

No he was a local business owner. He got a judgment against me for the debt and did everything he could to collect it. I did owe him the money but at the time just couldn't deal with it all and couldn't figure out how to pay him. I only owed him 700.00 but it seemed like a million. Then when I found him by my car watching all the time I got mad and made a choice to not pay him. I filed partly because of him and his antics. He filed his claim in the BK and on the BSS network, the trustee lists the checks that he has paid and then marks them as cleared or not cleared. His never clear for a few months. I know I made him very angry when I filed. He told me I was scum and that he would get his money. He made me feel awful. His company went out of business last year. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
