Filed 13 on 5/29, 341 is scheduled for 8/14. Creditors have 60 days from the 341 to file objections, is that correct? Or is it 60 days from the time your 341 was set?

I thought from when it was SET, but it's from the actual date of the 341 in most cases.

Usually 341 hearings are about a month after filing. I wonder what gives with the three month wait?

I don't know, I check the Court schedules and they are booked solid. Actually my petition was filed 5/29 and was given a 7/31 341 date, but my plan wasn't submitted until 6/11 and my 341 was then bumped accordingly to 8/14. From looking at cases filed before mine in March they were running close to having the 341's about a month after filing, in April they were running about 6 week after filing..I'm thinking lots of folks are filing and they are getting backed up.

Yup, just checked. Filers as of 6/17 have 341's 8/21. My case was updated today with a time change from 9AM to 10AM 8/14, 10/14 is the deadline for filing claims and 11/15 (or something close) deadline for objections to discharge debt.

This process just seems to drag on and on and on and on............

so on 10/16 you will know how many claims are filed and can then figure out the "actuals" in your plan. Hopefully not many will file claims. And yes the courts are backing up. I think I read somewhere the BK filings are shooting through the roof.
