You guys are gonna think I'm crazy for asking this questions BUT I'm going to ask it anyway...............Can a person while in bankruptcy chapter 13 for 22 months already into the plan be able to invest a specific amount of money per month into the stock market or into mutual funds, etc. through a broker...

NOT that I would be doing this at the moment with how nuts the market is right now but I have this opportunity to buy some stocks connected with where I work....suggestions? comments??

I thought that if by some miracle you had to report these on your tax return, the trustee would see and since you had excess funds going to something like this, then why not send those excess funds to creditors. That said, I'm interested in others' opinions. This is something my husband wants to look into and I worry about raising any flags whatsoever with the trustee.

well, my trustee doesn't ask for my tax return so I don't know and I'm self employed
