    Bad bad day

We are working with our attorney to get a 13 filed ASAP. Apparently the credit union is much faster. They sent a repo guy to our house today and he took my daughters car. She had NO idea this was coming. We were trying to avoid this. She was so freaked out, especially because he cussed at her.
I feel SO bad for her. We should have talked to the kids about things, but hindsight is 20/20.

I'm HOPING we can get filed in the next 10 days and get her car back.

Oh, I'm sooo sorry. I believe you can get it back if you file within 15 days.
    Good Luck!

So Sorry to here about your problem. I also feel bad for your daughter, cause the kids have nothing to do with this. That person was a jerk for cussing at your daughter. Maybe you should call there place of business and read them there rights.

Sometimes things that happen are blessings in disguise. Now that your daughter is aware of your struggles, you need to be open with her about it all. Was she paying for the car at all? Did she have any skin in the game? If not, letting the car go is a good thing. Buy her or let her get a cheap paid for car as transportation especially if she wasn't involved in paying for the car that just went back, or if she wants that car, have her help get it back. From experience, I can say that kids are resilient and you will be better off if you let her deal with her own transportation instead of letting her believe that mommy and daddy owe it to her.

You will be able to. They will emergency file if nothing else.. Then you have 14 days to get your completed, final schedules in.

My car was repo'd on a Friday. I was able to file on Saturday (without prior planning) and had the car back Monday..
