Credit Counseling vs. Debtor Education

We are going to file in Dec. I'm going through all the attorney's paperwork with a fine tooth comb to make sure I haven't missed anything. I'm starting to get confused with a couple of terms...
Credit Counseling is BEFORE you file..and you can do this lots of places, she recommended dave ramsey's or cccs
Debtor Education is AFTER you file.

There are several notes she has written about Debtor Education that it occurs in the courthouse with the trustee's office.

Your initial credit counseling must be done within 6 months before you file. The debtor education must be done within 45 days after your 341 (I am going on California time, so be sure to check with your state and district for the correct timeline.)

The debtor education is not done in the trustee's office. Your attorney may have made some suggestions. You can do all of this online if you wish but check with your attorney to make sure that the place that you select is accepted in your district.

Both certificates are required to be filed with the court at the required time in order to receive a discharge.
