Found out yesterday that my chapter 13 was filed November 25th. First payment is due on Christmas Day...go figure. I'm so nervous about the whole LONG process, but am glad it's at least started. Wish me luck. It took alot for me to do this. I'm worried about going to court in the next 60-90 days. I just want things to go smoothly. Any words of encouragement or anyone just starting like me?

Too funny - I found out yesterday we filed on 11/26 and our first payment is also due on Christmas. Sounds like we're in the same boat. -
I filed on November 1st and my 1st payment was made on the 1st of December. My 341 meeting is tomorrow morning. I am right there with you.....nervous, unsure yet relieved. I am nervous about the meeting tomorrow but I hear its a very simple process.Filed 11/01/08

I too had fits about the LONG process of payments to come for BK. But after the first few months of knowing exactly what my bills were and what I had to pay I actually improved my mental health by sticking to the plan. It has become a stable routine. I know there will be surprises along the way, but right now the bk filing was the best business decision I ever made.

It does go by fast- seems like just yesterday that I filed CH13 and payment #10 has been made was made last month... ten down, fifty more to go...Comment
