Ohio recently added the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit to the Exemptions list!

I was curious on this. Our attorney just told me 5 mins. ago when I called him that we needed to max out our exemptions on our pay because the trustee would get our tax returns. This really sucks this year, because our refunds are generally right over 3k...and we won't get it this year
That would have taken care of a medical bill that I wanted to pay off to be in good standing with my dr. or could have helped us pay vacation (if we are allowed to have one?)???

Maxing Exemptions
Our atty told us the same thing. She had to include the tax refund as income whether we got it as a refund or if we got it throughout the year. Either way, it was income and would go towards determining our plan amount. I'm hopign we guessed correctly and won't owe come April 15th!
