in the middle of a chapter 13

I am a little over half way with my chapter 13 and my car broke done and need 1500 dollars. Can i either borrow out of my 401k or just withdraw this amount out or take a hardship loan out on my 401k. thanks

I have similar situation. I went to a dealership on last Friday and obtanied a purchase contract for another vehicle. I just fax it to my attorney and hopefully they can get me an approval letter from trustee and he will accept my new plan (because I have no auto payment earlier and there is no way I can pay BOTH trustee and auto payment at the same time).
