    Calculating disposable income

I used the calculator that determines if you qualify for a Ch-7 or Ch-13 and then subsequently calculates your montly disposable income. I knew doing in that we'd be in a 13 but it seemed like the calculator was messing up on the allowable rent/mortgage payment amount. It is just my wife and I. The calculator picked up on the 2 incomes, 2 car payments, 2 deductions for this and that but when it hit rent/mortgage, it said like 1 person $895 and I couldn't get it to change.

That's a mistake right? Anyone know the 2 person deduction or allowed expense for King George County Virginia?

Looks like it should be $1051.

Thanks. Follow up dumb question: What happens if my payment is twice that?

Pretty sure it depends on if it's rent or mortgage. Rent, you can only claim up to the IRS standard. Mortgage, you get to deduct the actual amount.
