    Credit report

    Hello,
I been in a chapter 13 since 8-2008 and I just got a copy of my credit report, however my car says I owe $ 3, 000.00 back and that I petition a chapter 13. I'm confused are the trustee;s suppose to make the payment on time? and how can I get my credit report updated to paying through chapter 13

I am assuming your car is crammed into your Chapter 13 or are you supposed to make payments on it outside the Plan? If it is crammed, payments are started to that lender after your Plan is confirmed and which should show on a print out of your matter. Call your attorney and get a print out of what has been paid/received to date in your Plan.

As to your credit reports, unless you suspect fraud or have a good reason to update your reports during your Chapter 13, I would not do anything until after you are discharged and pull your reports a few months after discharge allowing all creditors to catch up in reporting. Then I would start cleaning up like mad. To do so before then might be a lot of unnecesary work since myself and many others on here have tried to do so only for items to go back to incorrect information or revert back to what you tried to dispute.

    Best of luck to you...

Does your credit report show the lasy month that the payment history is a PP [payment plan]? If it does, then it looks like you owe only $3000.00.
