341 was this morning

Well, that went really well. He did request the address of my husbands x-wife because he owes her a small amount for child support. He said that he would give us until 1 week prior to 10/10/06, which was when he continued the 341 meeting for. But he said that if I get the info to him sooner then there will not be a need to go to that 341 meeting. So, if now my question is.....Will he be able to adjourn the meeting once he gets the address or do we have to wait until 10/10? He didnt say anything about our expenses or anything, didnt even ask if our income had changed. I am assuming that is a real good sign. If he had questions about any of that would he have brought them to light right then or will he wait until after to ask questions like that?

By the way, he was a real nice guy and didnt ask us a lot of questions at all.

We also had to provide some extra documentation and didn't have to attend the continued meeting, but I didn't hear anything about an adjournment of the meeting. All the attorney said was that we satisfied the request and there was no need to go to the second one. It had no affect on any of our important dates.

Glad all went well for you! It's a relief, isn't it? I always say the anticipation of a dreaded event is always so much worse than the dreaded event itself.

It sure sounds good to me VA! I bet you feel like the weight of the world is off your shoulders. Just get that address to the Trustee ASAP and get things moving along and before you know it you'll be posting DISCHARGED AND CLOSED!
