I got pulled over for speeding the other day... 41 in a 35, got a ticket for 5 over... This couldn't have come at a worst time. I'm in between jobs and just about to begin doing my bk paperwork to file pro se. Is this $100 ticket something that can be included, or do I just have to come up with the money for this? I figured I might as well ask and see, what could it hurt?

Sorry to have to share that the answer is no. Fines and penalties imposed for violating the law, such as traffic tickets and criminal restitution, are not dischargeable in bankruptcy.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
