    Caught by surprise....pleasantly....

Filed for chapter 7 on 09/29/06. 341 meeting was scheduled for 10/30/06, but trustee had to reschedule due to something on her end. The 341 meeting was rescheduled for 11/30/06. 341 went well. I had assumed that my discharge date would be 60 days after 341 was held. The original date for objections was 12/26, but I thought since the 341 was held a month later than was planned, that the discharge date would move up as well. I thought that it had to be 60 days after the 341 meeting, but...it apparently is 60 days from the ORIGINAL date planned.

I happened to be looking on PACER today, and saw where there was an entry on the 12/30. I immediately thought that there may have been an objection or something. Well...I looked and it said DISCHARGED!

I guess that is good, huh?

Yep! Yep! Yep! It is VERY good!!

    Congrats, Hcii!!

And that is the rule. 60 days, or there about, from the FIRST scheduled date for the 341 is the period for Objections and Extensions. Even tho you didn't have your 341 until later, your clock was already ticking.

What a nice way to start the New Year. With a financial clean slate!!

Time to start rebuilding. It's not so hard as people think.
