I am making a list of my assets for my bk filing and wondered if i need to claim both of our televisions? I have an old 19 inch tv for my living room and my 12 yr old daughter saved up her allowance last year and bought herself a 13 inch tv for her room for $50 at an after thanksgiving sale. Because she bought it with her own money, do I need to list it on MY assets, being as she is my dependant? I know this may sound trivial, but the exemption list for NY state allows only one television and I don't want to leave anything out that needs to be claimed.

thankyou Filing. I appreciate your quick reply! I didn't think it would matter but I didn't want to leave it off if it would create an issue. You are correct. It's not MINE..but I wasn't sure due to the fact that her allowance that she saved up to purchase it with came from me.Comment
