    A little confused

Another newbie here, So yep I am more than just a little confused.

Here is my situtation.. My husband and I filed chapter 13 back in may 2005. We have been making our regulaer payments. Well of course one thing leads to another (daughter needs braces, utility bills going sky high ect.), we made the decision to convert our case to chapter 7. Our new 341 meeting is 2-15-07.
Here is my question.. we have our car on the chapter 13 and the trustee was making payments on it there.. I checked on the 13data center and we owed 5200.00 on the car 4100.00 principal and 1100.00 interest. It shows that we have paid 2184.29 on principal and 486.00 in interest and the remaining principal is 1915.71. Now that we have converted to chapter 7 will we lose the car or do we just have to pay the 1951.71 plus interest. tried calling the attorney but I have to realize that is like pulling teeth. Any help would be great....
    Thanks for your time

First off, did you owe any arrears payments on your car when you filed for chapter 13?

Is the $5200 the original balance due on the car BEFORE you filed chapter 13, or is that the cram down number?

I think we were down one payment on it, so i think we owed around 680.00.
The 5200.00 was the orginal balance.
