Can this just end?

Ok, is this only going to get worse? These things keep dawning on me, and I am not trying to be dishonest by any means, its just so hard to keep things straight.

I mentioned that we had to submit info on our truck, motorcycle and bank statements the other day (we are at 81 days past the 341 now)....our 341 was in November, and in late November, my mother gave us $2500 to help with some house repairs and Christmas....the deposit will DEFINITLEY show on my bank statement. I don't want to get my mother involved in this (she knows NOTHING about this, I would never hear the end of it)....also, my husband used his gas card several times (the attorney advised us we could keep it) because he was in a pinch (I am the possessor of the ATM card and checkbook)....so payments to the credit card company will also show on the bank statement....

I am starting to think maybe I am screwed?

I don't think that the $2500 is going to be an issue since you received it after filing. If it does turn up to be an issue, just be prepared to show where the money went to. If the money is gone and spent on living expenses/house repairs, I don't think that there's much they can do. As far as the gas card, I don't think that payments you made to that will matter either. The trustee is going to be looking for large (over $600) payments made to creditors. In that case, they could attempt to claim those funds to distribute evenly among creditors. But small amounts I would not get too worried about. Just be honest if the issues are brought up, and you will be fine.

Thanks....yeah the money definitley went out the window to walmart and target, and oh yeah, my lovely friend home depot (gotta love 50 year old oil burners huh?) - payments for the credit card are about $20....let's hope there's no issue...
