Credit report

We are filing a Chapter 7 no asset case. Our 341 is scheduled for February 21st. I have signed up to receive notices when something changes on our reports and some creditors have already updated the accounts as "included in bankruptcy" and have 0 as account balance. I guess that's a good thing but I thought it was a little early for that to take place. I'm not complaining at all! Will most of them do that before the discharge?

More than likely. It depends on the internal policy of the creditor. However, because of the fact that chapter 7 BK's take about 3-4 months from date of file to discharge, creditors typically make a notation about the BK before discharge so that your credit report is accurate in that regard (as they are required to do under various statutes).
