    Question about my Bank Card

My wife and are met with an attorney today, who advised us to do a CHapter 7.

Initially, we had consulted with a CCCS advisor, and HE essentially told us they could not help and to consult with e BK attorney.

anyway, the attorney advised us to not do any charging until this process is complete.

my question involves my bank card? SHould we only use it as a debit card until this process is complete?

Would using it as a charge card hurt us even though we are not incurring debt when we use it (since it takes money from our bank account)?

    thanks

Ummm. I'm confused. Is this actually a debit card (one that comes directly from your checking/savings account) or is it a credit card?

If it's a debit card, you have nothing to worry about. Those deduct money directly from your checking account, and that's it. You can't spend more than you have with those! Your bank will tack on some nice fees for ya.

It is a bank card, but can be used either as a charge card (I sign) or a debit card (I type in my PIN), but the money comes from the same place either way - my checking account.

Then you have nothing to worry about. Continue using it either way!
