60 days from the first date of your original scheduled 341. So if that is the day than 60 days from that date. If you are a simple straight no asset case than it should run smoothly and your case should close shortly after the discharge date as well, (but sometimes it may take awhile to close). So hopefully these 60 days will go by quick and without any interruptions for you!
Welcome to the 60 day club.

Creditors and the UST have 60 days from the first scheduled 341 to file Objections and Extensions. If nothing happens during the 60 days, your Discharge will occur shortly after that. Then Closing will come.
Different Courts handle the Discharge and Closing different ways.
Very few Trustees actually do their own Discharge Notices. In most Courts that's an automated process. In our Court, once the 60 days passes, a week later, the Court computer kicks on in the wee hours of the night and generates the Discharge.
Closing can vary too. Some Courts will Discharge and Close the same day. Our Court requires a 30 day waiting period after last activity before the case can Close. The Clerk Closes cases, 1x a month, at the end of every month. So you could wait anywhere from 30 days to over 7 weeks to have your case Closed.
How your case will be handled really depends on the procedures followed by your local Court.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06

Does PACER or the credit reporting agency reflect that the creditor has "accepted" the bankruptcy? I didn't know I could see that information, but if I can that would ease my mind!Originally posted by wbp1968 View PostDoes anyone know how long after this meeting that I should get my discharge..Trustee said it was a no asset case to my lawyer...Have3 started to see where my creditors have started posting that it falls undr my chapter 7 filing..Thanks for any info...my 1st post to the board....Thanks3/27/07: Chapter 7 Filed - Pre-filing true FICO (hers/his) 450/477

We started monitoring and disputing our Credit right after our 341. Some of the Creditors had already dropped our debts to $0 shortly after we filed. Others dropped our debt a little along. Before Discharge all the accts included in BK read $0.
That's how we knew what was going on.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
