Ch. 13 to Ch. 7?

I recently have petitioned to convert my 13 to a 7. Actually on Monday my cased was filed to a chapter 7. My question is during a chapter 7, if you find new employement before your 341 hearing, can the trustee throw you back into a chapter 13 under the new law? Otherwise, can I take a new position after my 341 hearing? On another note, has anyone been successful with a short sale? If so how do you find a investor that has a large amount of liquid cash just laying around? And how do you know if you can trust them?
