I think Mr. Harris is a wise man, and I also think you are just trying to make trouble here. You can believe whatever misguided and incorrect information about bankruptcy you've been fed by the creditor media machine - we know the truth because we've lived it and you haven't. Kindly please move along and share your "wisdom" with a more deserving forum (and this will be my last post to any comments you make in the future). I encourage our other members to not take the bait - it only encourages this kind of self-righteous poster to get more outrageous and inflamatory. This person is not worth one second of your time.

I think something occurred that we are unaware of, SS. One of my threads had this exact same post applied to it over night. Perhaps a flaming anti-bk person wandered by, posted all kinds of silliness, then had their posts deleted by the mods. But these were left up.

This same message appeared in three threads. I had the same reaction you did, wondering what the heck i had done/said. Never know though, maybe we really did say something so out of line to generate that response. I just can't imagine what it is.

jobs and BR

I think the only jobs that can deny you employment from a past BR are government jobs that require clearance. Like any military, CIA, or FBI work.
A friend in the air force was told he would be denied clearance due to a trip to South America his wife wanted to take. Its not a picking on BR thing, just a government issue. So unless one of the above jobs are your job choice for the future, you have little to worry about in th employment area.

Don't know who Wade Rogers is (?), but yes, the mods dealt with the original anti-bk poster and I banned two new "ghost" identities early this morning as well. You won't be seeing these particular troublemakers again

School's out now for lots of bored teens who get their jollies this way, so let us mods know right away if you see any offensive or suspicious posts so we can deal with it rather than taking on a flamer yourselves. Thanks!

Some kids have WAY to much time on thier hands these days with no supervision. These kids ought to be studying for thier SAT tests so they can, hopefully, get a good job and avoid BR themselves in a few more years when ma & pa cant support thier spoiled little behinds anymore. Get a summer job already!!
Ten years from now they will be on here crying they have to go chapter 7.

Just for more info on the neighborhood and the current market conditions here in ATL:
I bought my house for 351K in 2005. 7 months ago the builders lowered their inventory houses 90K to below the price I paid in 2005 and those houses which are comparible to mine are still siting there for sale!!!

I feel your pain. The same exact thing happened to me except I'm in Florida. I left that house and am letting it get foreclosed on. Thankfully I was able to get a new house before my credit was ruined though. The housing industry is a JOKE right now.

Those that live in glass houses should not throw stones. NEVER, EVER say that it won't and can't happen to you. And certainly don't ever judge anyone that it is or has happened to. That's all I'm gonna say about that!
