    question about after filing

I am of course going to talk with the lawyer about all of this. But just as in put. I am leasing the car I currently have. When I file 7 I plan on putting this car in that. They will of course come and take it back or so I hear. I moved to michigan from chicago a year ago and have no family or friends up here. SO my question is, after they take the car, how long until i can get a new lease? I was planning on leasing another car but much cheaper and something affordable. The reason I ask is because if i do not have a car to get to work I will have to resign and move back home. And I do not really want to do that as I am currently in no danger of loosing my job and at the age of 28 have come pretty far. I am in railroading and at 28 other managers my level are all 40 or older. I would hate to have to start all over again just because of not having a car to get there.

ANy info will help. If I can't lease i would probably take 2 vacations off work and get some pay together to get a cheap used car but I would rather not buy someone elses problems.

Do yourself a favor, and have all your debts discharged. And just buy a reliable used car cash. Keep the car for two years, and save up money that you don't have! You'll be able to purchase another car before you'll be able to lease one after filing for BK.

    Good Luck!
