    What Happens After You File?

This is gonna sound silly, but after I filed the BK, the lawyer told me to make sure I made contact with my trustee so that he could instruct me on where to send my tax forms for 2005 and 2006 along with 60 days of pay stubs. I called him and he asked me to mail them and now I am just waiting for the next thing which I thought was the 341 meeting scheduled for Aug-28-07 at 1:30pm, however I wanted to make sure that there was not something else I should be doing until then..

This is my first time doing this(I filed pro se) and even though a lawyer helped me prepare my paperwork(I was in his office so many times for corrections until I got it right), he made sure I did the foot work myself.

When I filed the BK, along with the paperwork was the certificate for part one of the Credit Counseling course required in order to file at all. I understand that a completion course must be done within 45 days after the first date of the 341 meeting(thats what my paperwork says, but what the heck does that mean...lol) also they allowed me to pay the filing fee in installments of 75.00 dollars for Aug-24, Sept-24, Oct-24, Nov-24 and all of my creditors received the same statement that they sent to me because I checked on Pacer.

Is there something more I should be doing?

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

you can do the course now or no later than 45 days after the 341 meeting but I suggest doing it before the 341 it seems to make the process easier
Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.

Not usually. But if they do it is usually because of fraud or short time between cash advance and filing.
