Clarification: When I said 'disposable income', I was thinking about after discharge when a Ch 7 filer now has money available for living expenses that before they had to pay to nonsecured creditors. I wasn't referring to Schedule I vs J.
It is certainly possible (although rare) to be an under-median Ch 7 filer and be pushed into Ch 13 if you aren't careful filling in your forms with appropriate living expenses. Disposable income over $100/month could indeed open the Ch 13 door; disposable income over $160/month absolutely will.
Apologies for the confusion

I ended up with $83 a month disposable.
