    ? about camper

I want to file without my husband, but we do have a camper . I am not on the loan for it, but am on the title. I owe 11,500 on it and its nowhere worth that, can they take it if i'm not on tne loan? Thanks for all your help...

Given the information you've shared, the trustee won't take the camper to sell it because it's worth less than you owe on it. There's no money to gain for your creditors by selling an asset worth less than what is owed on it.

Of course, it's best to check with a bankruptcy lawyer in your area to make sure this is the case for your situation.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

see if you can find some independent appraisal of what it is worth, and of course, have ready the documentation showing what you owe on it. Since you are "upside down", the trustee will likely abandon it too you. This may take a few months to be "official", but in the meantime you will be able to keep and use it (and after he abandons it too, of course).
