    71 day club......

I'm 11 days past last day of objections.....no nothing yet on pacer as far as a discharge....

Does anyone think this is because we are coming up on a holiday weekend?

Last report on pacer shows trustee wants to be released, and I'm not subject to automatic dismissal so I'm thinking this should be pretty cut and dried?

I'm so frustrated, and aggravated right now I feel like banging my head against a wall. I know this whole process takes patience, and I've tried to hang onto it for the last 60 days, but this is starting to wear my nerves thin.

    Thanks for letting me vent........

    Sorry, desperation.....

Did you file with an attorney? Maybe you could call him and have him check what's going on for you?

courts could be backed up....holiday also....as long as trustee wants out and last day for objections has come and gone you should be fine....pacer was down last night....best of luck

It depends largely on the court. It is possible it discharges/closes all cases once a month. It is also possible that the holiday has delayed it.

Try not to worry to much

The bankruptcy court and trustees have their own sense of time, desperation, and it sure isn't the same sense of time that the rest of the world is using! Glacial doesn't begin to describe it! lol!

Hang in there - eventually your discharge will be posted and this endless waiting will all be a bad memory.

Nothing is going to happen on PACER until next Tuesday at the earliest, so take a PACER break and enjoy the Labor Day holiday with family and friends. You've earned it!

Call your case manager. Every case has a manager who files things in the court docket about that case.
Generally they are responsible for filing your discharge.
Look at your BK case number, and your BK judge.
Go to your court's website, look up your Judge's staff, and find who is filing your case with those numbers.
Call them directly, they usually have an extension.
Often it takes up to 90 days for them to enter a discharge if they are busy. Most court's staff are pretty busy.

We called and she told us she would get around to it that week and she did!

Thanks all for the kind words, advice and support.

I did check with my attorney, and was advised that I'm basically subject to the courts timeframe...

I do live in a large city....so could be I'm one among thousands just waiting, and waiting. Dear God hopefully not for 90 days though.... I just can't take much more of the wait.

I just really want to move on, and get on with my life I guess as all of us do here.
