    Information on PACER

Hello-I am new to the forums though I have been reading here and there for a couple of weeks now. By the looks of things I am thinking someone might be able to answer the question I have. I heard about PACER on here and went ahead and checked it out. I was able to go in and check out all the information this afternoon on our case and something caught my eye that I am not sure what it means. We are scheduled for our 341 meeting next Wednesday morning and honestly havent heard anything from our attorney since the meeting was scheduled back in August. On our PACER report it shows one of our creditors filing a "Request for Special Notice Filed by Creditor Household Bank". This was filed on Aug. 29th and we have heard nothing about it. This creditor is one of the creditors to a secured property that we are keeping. Is this something I should be concerned about?? Does this mean that they will be sending their attorney to our 341 meeting?? And should I be freaking out about the 341 meeting??? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that it just means that they want notification of events in the case. I don't think it means they will or won't be at the 341.

At my 341, in the two groups I saw the meetings for (about 100 cases), there was only one creditor that showed up for 1 case, and he just wanted to have the debtors sign the reaffirmation agreement. There was another one there for the next group, but I didn't stay to see what he was there for.

This means they only want to be notified of any changes or the progress of your case.... nothing to worry about. More than likely they won't be at the 341 either. They just want to be kept current on the progress of your case. Some creditors do this....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

I am glad I did not know anything about PACER. I am sure I would have freaked out too.
