Working after the 341 meeting

This new dental bill for my family is really kicking our butts. Can I go back to work part time, which really is all I can do, how will this affect our outcome for discharge. As you guys know we are already declared no assets/distribution and I just don't want to mess this up. We have about five weeks to go from last day from objections.

So will earning a little more money hurt my case at this point??? the dental bill really put us in a little tight spot but it has to be paid.

hi....I believe if you had any assets or other sources of money, they would have been counted in the bk estate at the time of filing....341 is over ...no asset I think you would be ok....

Thank you for your reply. I know I am okay with no assets, I am just wondering if it is okay to work part time so we can have a little extra income to pay off our dental bills that is over $3000, we are on a monthly payment plan for the next 15 months, trust me this was not in the budget.

If you've had your 341 it should be okay for you to go back to work part time to assist with the debts. I don't believe it would affect your status in any way especially considering the dental payments aren't going to be discharged since they occurred after the filing.

You're safe. If you got a job today, you wouldn't have a paycheck for another couple of weeks.
Good plan to start to increase your income.
