    Cable/phone utilities and CH7?

    HI
I have a question. If I file CH7 and add in my utilities (cell bill, phone bill, cable, electric, etc. ) am I going to be able to still keep these things on? Or if they are already "shut off" will they let me turn them back on? Will the cable company let me get cable again and cell phone? Does anyone know what happens with utilities after CH7? please let me know.

Also is there anything that I should NOT include in my CH 7?

    TIA guys!!!!

Public utilities will have to provide service but, expect a huge deposit for new service.
Private companies like cell phones companies and cable companies may refuse service due to prior unsatisfactory experiences with you.
I'd make every effort to pay a utility bill in full priro to filing.
Lots of cell pnone and cable compaies out there. You will be able to find a new provider though, they may require a higher deposit.

I kept ALL utilities up to date.

However, about six months prior to filing, I opted to drop my land-line phone and go with cell phone as my only phone, in an effort to cut expenses. At the time I dropped my land-line, they had already cut off my service, and I owed them about $110 in back payments. I included that in my BK filing. I don't see any reason for me to ever get a land-line again, so I don't foresee a problem with that particular utility.
