    Just checked Pacer......

    (I supposed "terminated" means the same as "closed"?)

    is there an order for dischaege or order to close?
    Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.

      Cassiopeia - Were you able to download the discharge papers from PACER? Just checking, as I will want to do the same and I wanted to see how easy it is.....

          Well it says

          Docket Text: Discharge of Debtor. igned on 9/17/07 (then a name...a judge??)

          Docket Text: Final Decree, signed on 9/17/07 (then the same name)

          On the opening page:
          Date filed: 06/14/2007 Date discharged: 09/17/2007
          Date terminated: 09/17/2007 Date of last filing: 09/17/2007


          And yes, I could download the .pdf docs, I got my "Discharge of Debtor" document AND the "Final Decree" document, which states that the trustee is discharged and "the chapter 7 case of the above-named debtor is CLOSED."

          I am in tears.....HAPPY TEARS!

            Congrats!!!

                            Thank you SO much to everyone!!!! I really feel like we are in a special "club" or something....so much friendship and camaraderie! It's so good to share your joy and pain with others in the same boat! Everyone is so understanding and helpful here....I wish I had started posting sooner.....my story is that I lurked for a long time, and never joined until after filing. But despite that, what I read here helped me immensely, even if I wasn't participating at the time. I think ALL of you are wonderful!

                            I will stay active on here and try to help people as best I can, with my own experiences through my filing. Also, now with "rebuilding and repairing" credit.

                            Thank you all! I wish I could share some champagne with each of you!
