    What is an "Appearance Attorney"?

Is this some free-lance attorney that my attorney will hire to go to the 341 meeting in his place? Does an attorney at a 341 meeting really do anything other than sit there with you? Just wondering...

All the lawyers are the 341 I just had and watched did nothing but listen and take notes of anything the Trustee said.

There were several people who had 'stand-ins'.

We had our 341 2 weeks ago. Our attorney was present and all he did was ask us the same question everyone else's attorney did ...did we visit his office and give him the expenses, etc...After you are sworn in he asks the question above and then if the trustee has any questions she/he will ask you at that time or if they need additional information they will ask for that as well. As you have read on this forum the 341 is not as ominous as we all felt before we went; the real anxiety begins after it.
