    341 meeting today

I had my 341 meeting this morning. I had only 1 creditor show up, it was my mother. It went okay I believe. I've got a couple of questions.
I have about 46K in debt. 13k is for student loans and 13k is for a family loan from my mother. the rest is unsecured.

    1. Can the trustee discharge some of my debt and dismiss others?
    2. How does the Trustee determine things, facts only or emotions?
    3. Does any know what a 507,547,548,549 mean. ( think he said that to my attorney)

It's the court, not the trustee, that discharges your non-secured debt.

If you are asking if some kinds of debt can be wiped out in bk but not others, then yes, this is true. The current bk law lists several types of debt that can't be wiped out by filing - student loans, back child support, money you owe as a result of drunk driving or criminal activity, etc.

    2. How does the Trustee determine things, facts only or emotions?
Facts only - they are enforcing the law as the statute, case law, the district, the local court, or they as the trustee interpret it.

    No clue - sorry.
