    Rising Credit Score

    Hey thought I'd update everyone

    Feb/05 (before bk) - 485
    March/05 (after bk) - 405?
    April/05- 420
    May/05-436
    May 26 - 471

I have score watch w/equifax....and it so worth the money...I qualify for interest rates better each month...as if that is already a given...My discharge comes through on May 31st...as of now..nothing holding it up...

Are you doing anything to make it rise while awaiting discharge? I bet it jumps up a lot after May 31. Im in a similar situation too, hoping for the best.

      :p
After bankruptcy discharge my credit score was still at almost 700 even with bk listed.
Lucky me has history going back 30 years with few late pays and many accounts paid in full.
I checked to see that all info was correct and all BK info had been posted.
Was amazed that my score was so high after BK. An still considered a good risk even though I claimed BK.
There is "life" after BK after all!!!

Be careful of the "consumer credit scores." It has been shown that they are often 50-100 points HIGHER than what they actually give to the creditor who is pulling your bureau!
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

Thanks for the info, did a double check with a business friend of mine pulling a credit check on me. Difference in score was 12 points. Really close! They did make it a point to let him know that I had just claimed BK. He does business with them a lot.
So guess I'm in better credit shape than I thought I was. Now to get it back up to around 750 or so.
          Have a good weekend folks
